This is still a graphic design blog, right? These Kafka covers by Peter Mendelsund just kill me. Totally knocked the wind out of me this morning, in the very best way. I hesitate to say, but I will: I think these are on par with Lustig’s original cover for Amerika for New Directions.

Total design love going on here in the office today. Coffee’s hot, work’s locked and loaded, and I’ve got these beauties staring back at me. Good day.
